
Desiree Deville, LMSW, is a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 16 years of experience in the field of social work. In addition, Ms. Deville is a part-time Therapist at Maryland Psychiatric Care, providing clinical services to individuals and families using evidence-based interventions. She has extensive experience working with students with diverse exceptionalities, as well as children raised in the foster care system who have successfully transitioned into adulthood.Ms. Deville is deeply committed to equity and student success both in and outside of the classroom.
Ms. Deville earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Johnson C. Smith University. She also completed Bowie State University’s Administration I Certification Program, with aspirations of becoming a middle or high school principal in the state of Maryland.
She is also a proud mother to an 8-year-old daughter, whom she loves dearly and who continues to inspire her passion for youth advocacy.
