Bio:

Jasmine Genus is a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran and military spouse, she brings a deep understanding of the unique stressors faced by service members and their families. Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Maryland University College and a Master of Social Work from Howard University. She is trained in Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Group Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy, with over a decade of experience working with African American, Latinx, and LGBTQ+ children, adults, and families across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Southern California.

Jasmine is especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating grief, a universal human experience, while helping them cultivate gratitude. She creates a supportive and welcoming space where clients feel heard and understood, guiding them to process loss, build resilience, and discover hope, meaning, and appreciation in life.
